P.A. Schoonover Biography
Ms. Schoonover is a professional artist and educator who, after a successful career as an illustrator, turned to teaching. She taught courses and lectured throughout the Chicago area, offering drawing and watercolor classes to students of all ages.
Observing how art programs provided numerous benefits for her students Ms. Schoonover began to focus on developing art classes in which children with various or different skill levels could participate. The knowledge she gained from actually working with the children led Ms. Schoonover to add coloring books to her diverse body of work.
You will find each of her coloring books is well researched and carefully crafted. The illustrated material is stylized and simplified to an extent that is appropriate for a particular age group. Many of the illustrations have a humorous approach because of a commitment to providing children with fun and entertaining activities.
“The Amazing Dinosaurs a Coloring Book” is intended to be the first book introduced on this site. In the works is a book that younger children are sure to enjoy.
